a. Specialized products are ideal for business from home, since you do not want to compete with department store in your area or other non-exclusive selling merchandise at very low prices. The site for exclusive product sales can be very small. Its offerings reflect the products that are desired by a group of clients and their operations are unique and are generally not available elsewhere. Making
This type of business is not necessarily limited to giant companies. Manufacturers make things (cars, computer chips, earrings, vessels, biscuits, including prototypes). The startup costs tend to be higher than for other businesses, but again, these vary. Do you have a kitchen? A workshop? A sewing machine? If you feel at ease to make, and sell the things you do, then it may be worthwhile.

Types of Home-Based Businesses (I)

There are three basic types of home-based businesses: service businesses, where you provide a service to an individual or a business, manufacturing business, where you do something for sale, and retail or business distribution, where you store inventory and sells it to make a profit. Each of these has numerous subtypes, positive and negative features.
